Quantum Innovation mission UK 2023

The UK excels in the development of quantum computers, sensing and imaging, and cybersecurity. The country is also home to excellent research centers and universities with quantum programmes, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol, and London.

The shared commitment of the Netherlands and the UK to further develop quantum technology, coupled with the UK’s strong position in research, technology development, and application, presents opportunities for collaboration.

The Netherlands Enterprise Agency develops the mission program in collaboration with the Innovation Attaché Network in the UK and Quantum Delta. We will take participants' specific preferences into account as much as possible when finalizing programme.

The programme will at least include the following elements:

  • Visit to the UK National Quantum Technologies Showcase on 2 November 2023.

  • Visits to research- and innovation clusters (including Bristol, Cambridge and/or the recently opened National Quantum Computing Centre at the Harwell Campus in Oxfordshire).

  • Matchmaking with technology companies.

  • Networking events to foster relationship building.

If you wish to participate in this innovation mission, please register by 4 September 2023 via the online registration form.

Final participation depends on the number of available spots, as well as the alignment of your organization within the scope and objectives of this mission.
