Quantum Delta NL, in collaboration with the Dutch Research Council (NWO), launched the first call for scientific quantum research. The quantum research call implements the “research and innovation” action line of the Quantum Delta NL programme. In total, Quantum Delta NL has earmarked 42 million euros for this action line, over a period of seven years. The goal is to strengthen and enhance the scientific basis of quantum technology.
A special feature of this first call is that doctoral researchers can also apply for a personal research budget. This is intended to stimulate young talent in quantum technology. The total research budget for this first round is almost 4 million euros, and scientists from all over the country can submit applications for projects up to a maximum of 350,000 euros. NWO will ensure a decisive and careful execution of the call. The goal of both organizations is to realize much-needed scientific and technological breakthroughs in the field of quantum technology.
The call is now live and can be found at the NWO website.
Important dates:
- Apply before April 19, 2022, at 14:00:00 hours CET
- The assessment of applications will be done by the assessment committee in the period April – June 2022
