In a post on its social media, QphoX announced that it has been awarded €6.5M from the European Innovation Council!
The EIC Accelerator awarding QphoX this amount is a public funding instrument aimed at supporting startups in achieving high impact technological and scientific breakthroughs to address global challenges.
QphoX will use the funding to develop its Quantum Modem. On its social media, QphoX added; “This funding will propel us forward in our mission to enable networked quantum computers and practical implementations of the quantum internet!”
QphoX is based in Delft and is part of our ever-growing ecosystem in the region. It is also the first alumnus of our personal support program for promising quantum start-ups in every stage, which is spearheaded by our investor in residence Ton van ‘t Noordende. It helps with everything from fundraising, rapid scenario planning, cap table assessment and finding investors.
QphoX came out of stealth in May 2021, simultaneously announcing its first €2 million investment round, which we’ve covered in our other blog post. Did you know the team is also looking for new members to join them? You can find open positions on our quantum job board.
Congratulations to the team at QphoX. We love to see you succeed!
