European Quantum Collaboration Strengthened with Trilateral Call
Delft, May 6, 2025 – The Netherlands, France, and Germany have taken a major step in advancing Europe's position in quantum technology by successfully completing the first Trilateral Call for Quantum Innovation. This initiative, designed to foster collaboration and accelerate the commercialization of quantum technologies, has resulted in the selection of high-impact projects, receiving a combined funding of over €30 million.
The Trilateral Call, launched in March 2024, attracted more than 120 applications from companies and research institutions eager to collaborate in the fields of Quantum Computing, Communication, and Sensing. Through a rigorous two-stage selection process, the final projects were chosen to push forward European leadership in quantum innovation.
The strong response to this call demonstrates the increasing momentum of the European quantum ecosystem. By supporting these projects, the Netherlands, France, and Germany reaffirm their commitment to strengthening international partnerships and driving quantum technologies toward real-world applications.
