How international quantum technology companies can invest in the Netherlands

Attracting international companies that add value to our ecosystem, is one of the priorities of the Quantum Delta NL strategy. To support this process, the Quantum Delta NL Tech Transfer Team (Q3T) with its business developers from across our five hubs, works closely together with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA), an operational unit of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy.

Rinke Spee, part of a national focus team, leads the quantum effort at the NFIA, whose mission it is to support foreign companies with establishing or expanding their business in the Netherlands.

In particular, the NFIA is keen to assist companies that can contribute to finding and developing sustainable, innovative, and digital solutions to global challenges. For companies investing in quantum technology, the Netherlands provides fertile ground to expand in the European quantum ecosystem.

Together with regional partners in the Invest in Holland network, several of whom have a presence in the Quantum Delta NL hubs, NFIA provides free, independent and confidential information and services to help make a business case for locating in the Netherlands – from site selection to establishment and expansion processes.

Want to know more about NFIA’s services or start the conversation about doing business in the Netherlands’ quantum ecosystem?
