Quantum Delta NL Award 2025 awarded to Marc Hulzebos
Last Thursday, we presented the Quantum Delta NL Award to Marc Hulzebos for outstanding contributions to the Dutch quantum community during our Celebrating Quantum Progress event.
The Quantum Delta NL Award is presented annually to recognize an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the Dutch quantum community, whether through research, industry leadership, or community building. By celebrating these achievements, we aim to inspire others to help advance quantum technology in the Netherlands.
About the Award
The award was established by Prof. Dr. Ronald Hanson, one of the founders of Quantum Delta NL, to publicly recognize these efforts and encourage others to contribute. The first award was presented in 2023 during our Nodes of One Network event, marking the beginning of a tradition that honours those shaping the future of quantum in the Netherlands.
Turning Recognition into Action
Each winner is invited to share a wish for the community. The wish is a way to turn recognition into action. We commit non-financial support to help realize that wish through our programmes and network.
This Year’s Winner
The 2025 Quantum Delta NL Award goes to Marc Hulzebos from Eurofiber. Marc has played a leading role as a Dutch-based industrial player in actively shaping and advancing the market for quantum communication. His efforts have strengthened the bridge between industry and research, helping position the Netherlands as a frontrunner in secure quantum connectivity.
Marc’s wish for the community is to inspire confidence across industries as a key to unlocking quantum technology’s full societal value:
